Greetings from the Eden Prairie Community Foundation!

A warm breeze is in the air and we could not be more ready for all the Summer fun! As Summer begins and our community comes alive with longer days, community gatherings, and opportunities to connect, we are ready for all that is to come but also grateful for what has already begun. On May 20th, over 45 community members, supporters, and partners gathered at our recent Meet the Foundation event. The evening was full of meaningful conversations, new connections, and shared excitement for the future of philanthropy in Eden Prairie.

As we reflect on what the Eden Prairie Community Foundation has accomplished together, we are proud to share the foundation's annual report from 2025. This report highlights the ways your generosity, partnership, and support are making a difference across our community. Throughout, you will find stories of impact, a look at the year's financials, and a look at how together we are enriching our community through philanthropy, collaboration, and leadership.

This month, we are proud to highlight Hammer & NER, a nonprofit that serves our community, dedicated to providing people with intellectual and other disabilities the opportunity to live life to its fullest. For more than 100 years, Hammer has been opening doors and creating opportunities for individuals to live meaningful, self-directed lives through compassionate, person-centered support.

Hammer offers a wide range of services designed to support independence, safety, and community connection, including group homes and apartment programs with 24-hour staffing, case management and care coordination services, onsite nursing support, and inclusive travel opportunities through Hammer Travel. Their programs help hundreds of individuals across the Twin Cities access the resources, care, and experiences needed to thrive.

We are also excited to share this special video highlighting the incredible impact Hammer is making in our community and the meaningful lives being changed every day through their work. The Eden Prairie Community Foundation is proud to celebrate a record-breaking year of impact in 2026. This year, the Foundation is awarding more than $131,700 in grants to over 30 nonprofit organizations serving the Eden Prairie community, making it our largest year of grant giving to date. Thanks to your donations, we are able to offer grants supporting programs for basic needs, youth and families, animals, the arts, the outdoors, and more. These vital programs and services strengthen our community and make our city a wonderful place to live and work.

Join us for our 12th Annual Prairie Wine & Brewfest!

Prairie Wine & Brewfest is one of the Eden Prairie Community Foundation's signature events, bringing together community members for an afternoon of craft beverages, live music, food, and philanthropy at beautiful Purgatory Creek Park. Prairie Wine & Brewfest features local breweries, wineries, and non-alcoholic options for guests to enjoy while supporting a meaningful cause. This event raises critical funds that help the Foundation provide grants, scholarships, and support programs serving needs throughout Eden Prairie.
